In a recent Minute with Maxwell message, John defined a coach as "someone who can come alongside of you and can correct you without criticizing you in a way that is negative in your life."
A coach is able to ask the questions that gives you opportunities to improve yourself, but more importantly they can help you become aware of the “blind spots”. These blind spots are areas of the individual’s work or personality that they may not see.
A coach helps you become aware of the difference between reality and possibility
Having a coach gives the individual a safe place to go and talk through sensitive issues. They can then gain perspective without feeling intimidated by someone within their own organization.
Coaching isn’t only about improving an individual’s skills in the workplace, it takes learning to an even deeper level. Through coaching, an individual can learn more about themselves. They can find out how they are perceived by others and improve on areas of their personalities and even their lives that they are not satisfied with.
A coach is a word that means ‘come alongside.’ Come alongside and share together, listen, teach and lead.” Our coaching involves the ability to understand you; to live where you live, think how you think, and understand your perspective. From this benchmark, we will place another perspective on top of yours, stretching and growing you, to gently see a different way.
We can see what you are going through and things you are going to go through.
There are times in life when you arrive at the crossroads of opportunity and success, but might not recognize or take advantage of it. Throughout your lifetime you have had several brilliant ideas; however, there may not have been anyone available, or willing, to support and encourage you.
There are moments when you are unsure of how to follow your heart, your dream, your passion, so you get stuck in a rut, spinning your wheels aimlessly. Coaches are there for you to speak with, by asking great questions. Coaches assist you in generating possibilities, so you can achieve your goals and dreams.

Rather, we view you as a complex individual who is full of brilliant ideas and is capable of creating boundless possibilities for your life. Our clients are encouraged to examine what they really want and the possible ways they can move forward to achieve it.
Our relationship is one where you are provided the space to focus on the solutions to overcome the obstacles you are facing, and the support to help you see them through.
"Bob is a powerful change agent. When an individual demonstrates the awareness and self-discipline to invest time, money and energy in improving themselves in order to add value and contribute to the success of others, you have found a true leader. What's more, not only does that description fit perfectly when describing Bob Kittridge, he's demonstrated it in over 30 years of successfully helping people from all levels live into rewarding personal and professional lives. I've had the personal privilege of teaching and mentoring Bob in the art, skill and practice of professional coaching. The very best leaders also happen to be the very best followers, and Bob continues to show exemplary ability in this field. Whether you find yourself working with Bob on an individual basis or you're considering his services from an organizational perspective, I can assure you that hiring him will be an intelligent decision that will bring a significant return on your investment. "I was in need of direction for the next steps in my life and also to process through some things that were keeping me "stuck". I decided to let someone into the struggle I was having in my head and heart - someone to help me sort things out and move forward into a richer, more focused life. The most important thing I have learned in working with Bob is how much I have operated as a victim. And while this was initially really hard to hear and accept, it has been life-altering and life-giving. I now have the freedom to see it for what it is and choose if I'm going to be a victim or a champion. I regularly choose to be a champion! "
"I hired Bob to coach me through a difficult time I was having in moving forward with my business. I was frustrated, scared and basically paralyzed. I couldn’t see how to get to the next steps. Bob helped me see the real issues that were keeping me stuck. The awareness of these issues gave me the freedom, courage and strength I needed to move forward. Bob has great insight and intuition that makes him an excellent coach. I tried to go it alone and just couldn’t get past the things that were stalling me because I couldn’t see what they were on my own. I have now launched my own business and have the ability to work throughout the negative thoughts and emotions that had me stalled previously. I am making great strides in developing my business and am able to trust the process with a sense of confidence. The work that Bob did with me is invaluable. There is no price you can put on self-a"
